About Compass Equestrian

The focus of Compass Equestrian is bringing up the next generation of riders and horsemen. We cater to each student and client's individual learning needs. Through our lesson and training program, we strive to create the best experience possible for both horse and rider.

Compass Equestrian began as a pipe dream decades ago when head trainer, Brea Vega was very young. Her vision was to give students the leg up in the horse world that she did not have growing up in rural Iowa. Her dreams have been realized through Compass Equestrian.

Meet the Trainer

Brea Vega 

 

Brea has many years of experience within the equine industry. She began riding at a very young age and has been teaching riding lessons and training professionally for almost 10 years. As a young professional, she has earned a World Championship in the Jumper division in 2020 at the Morgan Grand National. She also won  a Reserve World Championship at the Morgan Grand National and World Championship Horse Show in 2019 in the Jumper division. She brings​ a fresh perspective in multiple facets of the equine industry including experience in Hunter/Jumpers, Western riding, Saddle Seat, and Driving.
